Aug 21, 2013 In Acrobat 8 Std we had a bunch of custom stamps that were used in Acrobat for mark-up on documents. After upgrading to Acrobat X Std we have lost these additional stamps. There is the option to create a custom stamp but we have nearly 100 stamps on about 30 computers, so I really need an automated way to import these. Adobe Acrobat comes with a number of dynamic PDF stamps. You can select them by going to the Comment pane on the right side, then click on the Stamp tool to bring up the list of stamps. Nov 14, 2015 We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro. My coworker created an exhibit sticker in a pdf document to be imported as a custom stamp in the dynamic stamp. I browse to locate the pdf document, then pull it into dynamic stamp under comment, custom stamps, manage stamps — my stamp ends up rotating 90 degrees and enlarging. I have a stamp that I have stored in the Stamp folder for Acrobat that has 3 different fields that I want filled out when I place the stamp on a pdf file. If I bring up the stampsample.pdf file. Add the stamp to the document.- Click on the 'Comment' button on the right side of the screen.
- Click on 'Add Stamp' button. This button's icon will look like a place marker on a closed up stamp-pad. This will open a drop-down list.
- Click on the 'Custom Stamp' option.
- Click on 'Create Custom Stamp'. This will open a dialog box, asking you to select the image from a document from a previously-created document.
- Click on the 'Browse' button. Select the file you created that contains only the stamp that you'd like to use for the PDF document.
- Select the page in your document that you'd like to use as your stamp The Acrobat program should convert the document to the appropriate format so you may edit and add the stamp to your document.
- Click the OK button on the initial dialog box. Doing so, will tell the program that the file you selected is indeed the correct file to find the newly-created stamp in.
- Categorize, name and save your new stamp into one of the few categories Acrobat has you place all new stamps in.
You apply a stamp to a PDF in much the same way you apply a rubber stamp to a paper document. You can choose from a list of predefined stamps, or you can create your own stamps. Dynamic stamps obtain information from your computer and from the Identity panel of the Preferences dialog box, allowing you to indicate name, date, and time information on the stamp.
The Stamp tool appears in the secondary toolbar of the Comment tool.
